A Dozen Roses is a member of the Central Coast Tourism group & is listed as an attraction on the Central Coast of New South Wales Australia. We are very excited to be able to offer visitors magnificent guided tours of the hydroponic rose farm. A Dozen Rosesis located at Lot 82A Hakone Road, Warnervale on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

The hydroponic rose farm was established in January 2003. This is a 100% Australian family-run business. We pride ourselves in being able to produce some of Australia’s finest fresh cut hydroponic roses at fantastic wholesale prices direct to the public.

A Dozen Roses is proud to be producing roses using the latest environmentally-friendly cultivation techniques. We are extremely conscious of our responsibility to the environment and our community therefore we recycle all water used and we do not use harsh chemicals but rather use bio-control agents such as good bugs to destroy the problematic pests.

Tour Details

A guided tour of A Dozen Roses takes approximately one & a half hours but this is entirely dependent on the size of the group & the depth of the interest in the tour. We can customize your tour to fit your particular schedule.

The tour begins with a brief history on the background of the Mann family & the origins of A Dozen Roses. Then you are escorted through the two cultivation greenhouses where the hydroponic roses are grown. The growing process is explained in detail. Visitors get to experience the climatic conditions that the roses are grown under. All the many rose varieties that we grow are displayed. The tour then takes a detailed view of the processing shed where the roses are prepared for bunching into dozens & for sale.

A brief tour of the cold storage facility for the roses. Then, finally a browse through the beautiful farm retail outlet where the roses can be purchased, or other memorabilia.

Adults $10 per person Pensioners $8 per person Children (5-16) $5 per child

Family pass $25 (2 Adults & 2 Children)

Groups of 10 or More $8 per person
